It's like the operating system gets commands and uses those it recognizes, but JAWS doesn't get them so it is impossible to do most things. If JAWs is the screenreader on the computer you're trying to control you are out of luck. With Voiceover on, the interaction with the iOS device pretending to be the computer's touch screen really does not work at all. ![]() The thing is, I can't say I really know how to use narrator so I couldn't do a good job of testing.īy the way, you will absolutely require a keyboard attached to your phone to make anything work. Narrator came through very well and it seemed like the hotkeys for controlling it worked as well. I was testing with a Windows virtual machine. You didn't mention what kind of computer or iPhone you are using. Meaning that your screenreaders speech will come through TeamViewer but it may or may not come through perfectly so you may or may not be driven crazy by it. Now for actually using Team Viewer if you are successful at connecting. Don't know if it's exactly the same app for phone and iPad either. a couple weeks ago I could, so that part depends on the Team Viewer version you have. Right now it seems I can't find the password field for accessing the remote computer in the Teamviewer app on my iPad. Sorry, long explanation here, but you asked.
